Valle de Guadalupe Wine Tasting

Duration

11 Hours

About

Your tour will begin in Old Town, San Diego. The group tour will board a luxury 14 passenger van with air conditioning and reclining seats.

The transport has plenty of legroom, and complimentary bottles of drinking water are available. You’ll then be driven south across the border without having to get out of the passenger van.

Once in Mexico, you will enjoy an easy one-hour drive along the Pacific Scenic Route towards Ensenada with a stopover at El Mirador (the viewpoint) to enjoy the view of the bay.

During whale season, you may spot a few whales in the water. Baja whale watching is a favorite activity and, if needed, we can stop for a closer view or bathroom break. Once in Ensenada, we’ll go east for ten more minutes into Baja wine country. By 11 am you will be enjoying delicious reserve wine from Valle de Guadalupe wineries.

You will visit three boutique wineries with Baja wine tastings included. Another essential part of the wine tour is you’ll gain first-hand knowledge of the winemaking process through a guided tour. But the enjoyment doesn’t stop there. For lunch, we’ll stop at Finca Altozano to enjoy a 5-course BajaMed meal created by a famous Mexican chef, Javier Plascencia.

By the end of the day, your all-inclusive wine tasting group tour to Valle de Guadalupe Baja wine country will be unforgettable.
