About:

Our most popular Sip ‘n’ Cycle takes you through the quiet and scenic northern Napa Valley, where you cycle along famous vineyards and try world-renowned Napa wines while enjoying stunning valley views. This tour takes in the best of the best in the Napa Valley as we bike to two wineries, all unique in their own way, along the quiet back roads of Calistoga.

We stop in and get a “Grapes 101” along the way, pop in and taste wines, and learn a lot about how to sip, swirl, and taste all the wines. Your guide acts as a chef, wine educator, concierge, confidant, and Sherpa all wrapped up in one. We then prepare a delicious wine country picnic lunch at one of the wineries. All in all, we’ll travel around 12 miles along mostly flat roads.

Some of the wineries we may visit include the following: Chateau Montelena, Bennett Lane, Envy, Summers, Lava Vine, August Briggs, Frank Family, Twomey, T Vine, and Clos Pegase, among others.

Beautiful! It normally does not rain from the beginning of May to the end of October or November. The mornings can be foggy, but not cold. Our summer highs vary from the 70′s – 90′s and we have low humidity. We do go on tour rain or shine because we always expect it to be sunny!

Are there wine tasting fees and how much do they cost?
Wine tasting fees vary from $15 to $45 per person per winery. In most cases you can share a taste (one glass) with another member of your group and many wineries will reimburse your tasting fee if you make an additional purchase or join the wine club.
