With pickups from select hotels on Highway 140, we will drive approximately 45 minutes to Yosemite Valley. On the way, you’ll hear about the history and geology of Yosemite National Park before stopping for photos at El Capitan. Before being set free for a day of hiking and exploration, our expert guides will give a short park orientation & hiking briefing so you’ll be prepared to hit the best trails and find the best viewpoints.

Itinerary:

FROM EL PORTAL, CA – HIGHWAY 140

Both morning departures follow the same itinerary.

      • 7:00 am / 9:30 am. Depart Cedar Lodge
      • 7:15 am / 9:45 am. Depart Yosemite View Lodge
      • 7:15-8:30 am / 9:45am-11:00am. Narrated park history and geology while traveling the scenic mountain road into Yosemite National Park. Stop for photos of iconic El Capitan. Park orientation & hiking briefing by your guide.
      • 8:30 am / 11 am. Arrive at Curry Village in Yosemite Valley (drop-off #1)
      • 8:45 am / 11:15 am. Arrive at Yosemite Valley Lodge (drop-off #2)
      • 8:45am-1:45pm / 11:15am-3:45pm. Free time to walk, hike or bike your way around Yosemite Valley! Your guide will recommend the best nearby trails and point you in the direction of bike rentals. Bring a bathing suit too. There’s nothing better than a dip in the nearby Merced River after a long day of exploration.
      • 1:45pm / 3:45 pm. Depart Curry Village (pick-up #1)
      • 2:00pm / 4:00 pm. Yosemite Valley Lodge (pick-up #2)
      • 2:45pm / 4:45 pm. Arrive at Yosemite View Lodge
      • 3:00pm /5:00pm. Arrive Cedar Lodge

 

FROM OAKHURST, CA – HIGHWAY 41

      • 7:30 am. Depart The Pines Resort
      • 7:45 am. Depart Oakhurst Visitor Center
      • 7:45-9:15 am. Narrated park history and geology while traveling the scenic mountain road into Yosemite National Park. Stop for photos of iconic El Capitan. Park orientation & hiking briefing by your guide.
      • 9:30 am. Arrive at Curry Village in Yosemite Valley (drop-off #1)
      • 9:45 am. Arrive at Yosemite Valley Lodge (drop-off #2)
      • 9:45am-2:00 pm. Free time to walk, hike or bike your way around Yosemite Valley! Your guide will recommend the best nearby trails and point you in the direction of bike rentals. IMPORTANT DETAILS:

National Park Entry: National Park Entry is included with your tour so there is no need to secure your own day-use permit from the park itself.

Due to our commercial permit with Yosemite National Park, we can only grant you access to the park for the duration of the tour. We cannot provide separate or additional park entry permits or allow you to follow behind and drive your own vehicle.

Pickup Locations: Our pickup locations are conveniently located right outside Yosemite National Park on Highway 140 in El Portal, CA, and on Highway 120 in Groveland, CA. You can park at either pickup location for the duration of your tour free of charge.

It is imperative to double-check our pickup locations and their addresses before arriving to Yosemite. This area does not have reliable cell service. Please do not confuse the Yosemite View Lodge (our pickup) with the Yosemite Valley Lodge (inside the park).

Additionally, if you are staying at a hotel on a different highway or location within the Yosemite area, please note that you cannot drive through the park to reach us if you do not have a day-use entry pass. Rangers will not make exceptions for you to enter the park to meet our departure point.

Bike Rentals: On the morning of your tour, check-in with the front desk staff at Rush Creek Lodge so they can assist you.

Incredible Adventures is not liable for any damage or issues occurring from bike rentals. Please contact Rush Creek Lodge for any questions or concerns. In the event of damage or loss of the rental equipment, Rush Creek Lodge is authorized to charge up to $200 per bicycle.

Incredible Adventures reserves the right to cancel any trip. If a trip is canceled due to bad weather, inadequate load requirements, or any reason (excepting those listed above), a 100% refund will be issued. If at all possible, a comparable tour product will be offered to the guest in lieu of canceling. In such cases where minimum load requirements are not met, we cannot be responsible for paying any expenses you may have incurred other than to refund monies due to you for tour price. A $150 cleaning/repair charge will be added for any severe damage to the vehicles during the tour (including liquid spillage requiring upholstery cleaning).

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, you may transfer your reservation to a friend or relative at the last moment, just please inform us of the change.

Overnight tours All overnight bookings have cancellation fees. Cancellations made more than 21 days in advance of the tour date have a 10% fee. Cancellations made less than 21 days from the departure date have a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours will be charged 100% of the tour rate.

Day tours Cancellations made between 72-24 hours prior to departure, have a cancellation fee of 50%.

Private and Charter Tour Cancellations
For cancellation more than 7 days in advance of departure, or if your tour is unable to depart as scheduled due to travel restrictions, you will be able to reschedule your trip and we will transfer your payment to your new date of travel.
For cancellation between 7 and 4 days, you will be charged 50% of the entire amount paid.
For cancellation 3 days or less in advance of departure and No-Shows, you will be charged 100% of the entire amount due.

Alcatraz Packages 20% of base trip price plus the full cost of Alcatraz ticket for any confirmed reservation canceled up to 72 hours prior to tour departure. 50% of base trip price plus full cost of Alcatraz ticket for any confirmed reservation canceled between 72 and 24 hours prior to tour departure.
100% of total trip price for any confirmed reservation canceled within 24 hours of tour departure or No-Show. There will be no refund or rescheduling for missed Alcatraz departures.

No Shows Passenger no-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of any tour departure time are are not valid for refund.

No refund will be given to anyone who is denied service because of refusal to wear a seat belt or to follow the rules and regulations of the carrier.
